Introduction To The Labyrinth
Saturday January 12th 2008

Walking the labyrinth is a moving meditation that encourages self-reflection and can bring clarity and insight about our personal and professional lives. The labyrinth also provides an opportunity to re-vision goals, evaluate progress and make decisions.

Whilst this day is designed as an introduction to the labyrinth, it is open to anyone, whether you’ve walked a labyrinth before or not. We welcome those who’ve already experienced the labyrinth and invite you to join us to deepen your labyrinth experience.

During the initial presentation on the history and significance of the labyrinth you will;

  • Explore the history and mythology of the labyrinth
  • Learn how to create a simple 7 circuit classical labyrinth
  • Discover how the labyrinth is being used world-wide in contemporary settings
  • Learn the guidelines for walking the labyrinth

There will be ample time to walk a beautiful Chartres style canvas labyrinth, as well as time for journaling, personal reflection and group sharing.

Art materials, mineral water and refreshments will be provided.

Course fee £59
The course will be held at a beautiful and easily accesible venue in North West London.
Course times are 10.00am to 4.30pm.
