About Jay

Journey Of The Soul retreats days and workshops weave together walking a candlelit Chartres style canvas labyrinth with a range of tools and resources such as movement, journaling, creative expression through colour, art, clay, working with myth and story, meditation and building group altars.

Most retreat days are facilitated by Jay Edge.  Jay works in private practise in North London as a psychotherapist, supervisor and group facilitator. Jay originally trained in Psychosynthesis, afterwards exploring Authentic Movement with Linda Hartley and completing the BodySoul Rhythms® Leadership training with the Marion Woodman Foundation. Jay's work is influenced by her long held interests in the Western Mystery Tradition, Women's Spirituality and Shamanism. Jay is a Veriditas Labyrinth facilitator and for several years worked with Lauren Artress as a group facilitator on the Chartres Veriditas Pilgrimage  programs. For the last few years Jay has been training with Dr Clarissa Pinkola Estes at the Institute for Archetypal and Cross-Cultural studies in Colorado.

Later this year Jay will be training again with Dr. Clarissa Pinkola Estes, beloved author of "Women Who Run With Wolves." Jay will be sharing this work in a 2 day retreat for women "Singing Over The Bones " in July in London.

Our retreat days are open to all women. Group sizes are kept small to create a safe and spacious experience but that does mean that groups fill up in advance. If you are interested in joining us and have questions feel free to call or email Jay and she will get back to you as soon as she can.
